VVC has expanded its machinery with a brand new milling machine. It is a Soraluce TA-25 D-M, a 5-axis CNC milling machine. The machine is a prime for the Belgian market, as before, there was only one machine like this in Belgium. The investment was needed to increase the production capacity and to meet the growing market demand. Jan van De Velde and Tibor Janssens, CEOs of VVC, tell about the investment.
"At VVC we are constantly working on innovation. Therefore, our machine park must evolve as well, "says Jan. "With the new milling machine we distinguish ourselves in the Belgian market, because in our country there are only two of those."
In 2016, the production hall and offices were renewed. This capacity expansion was necessary, as the demand is increasing. "The demand for our shut off valves and valve solutions is increasing rapidly. We notice that companies are increasingly looking for qualitative tailored solutions. A good thing for VVC. "
The choice for the Soraluce TA-25 D-M from Tecmo NV from Aartselaar was logical according to VVC. The machine offers many possibilities, standardization and ease of use. But safety and ergonomics were also decisive factors.
